Want a Second Opinion?

Being told you need extensive dental work can feel overwhelming.

Whether you've been recommended crowns, implants, veneers, root canals, extractions, or a full-mouth restoration, it's completely reasonable to ask questions—or even seek another professional opinion.

At Dedicated Dental, we believe every patient deserves to feel informed, confident, and comfortable before moving forward with treatment.

That's why we offer dental consultations at no charge to you.

What Is Included in Your Second Opinion?

During your visit, you will receive:

  • A one-on-one consultation with one of our dentists to review your recommended treatment.
  • A professional assessment of whether the proposed procedure is appropriate based on the information available.
  • A discussion of your treatment options and the opportunity to ask questions.
  • A quote for treatment should you choose to have the procedure completed at Dedicated Dental.

To help us provide the most accurate assessment, we ask that you bring any recent X-rays and your existing treatment plan from your current dentist.

Please note: A second opinion consultation does not include a comprehensive dental exam or new X-rays. If additional imaging or a full examination is recommended—or if you would simply like a more comprehensive evaluation—you may add those services during your visit. If you move forward with treatment at Dedicated Dental, any fees paid for the exam and X-rays will be credited toward the cost of your procedure.

Why Get a Second Opinion?

Dental treatment is an investment in your health, comfort, and finances. A second opinion can help you:

  • Confirm that treatment is necessary
  • Understand all available treatment options
  • Compare conservative and comprehensive approaches
  • Learn whether there are alternatives that may save natural teeth
  • Better understand costs and long-term outcomes
  • Feel confident before making an important decision

Sometimes the original treatment plan is exactly right. Other times, there may be additional options worth considering.

Either way, you'll leave with greater peace of mind.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will you criticize my current dentist?

No. Every dentist brings different training, experience, and treatment philosophy. Our goal is to provide an objective evaluation and help you understand your options.

Should I bring my X-rays?

Yes, if you have them. Bringing recent X-rays or treatment plans can help us evaluate your case more efficiently. If additional imaging is needed, we'll let you know.

What if your recommendation is the same?

That's great news. A second opinion can confirm you're making the right decision and provide additional confidence before beginning treatment.

Is it worth getting a second opinion?

If you're facing significant dental treatment or a substantial financial investment, many patients find that a second opinion provides valuable peace of mind—even if the recommendations are identical.
